Nothing To Film Festival is a volunteer-run event in its inaugural year. We are a couple of film enthusiasts who wanted to significantly increase the amount of queer, working class, experimental film showings in Asheville, and had the audacity to start our own festival. 3,000+ submissions later, we have curated a coalition of 65 inimitable films that capture the persistence of creativity across all boundaries.
You would never believe it, but a film festival tailored toward low-budget and beginner filmmakers is also run by low-budget and beginner organizers, who are in need of YOUR help! What we do is made possible by the support of our community, and we are beyond grateful for the time and effort people have given to this event.
